Jasmine imprinted the basic movements of the Star God's Broken Shadow into Xu Lin's mind. Then, she returned back to the Sky Poison Pearl in order to heal her wounds. Confirming that she had fallen asleep, he started practicing. On his first try, Xu Lin was capable of creating two afterimages of himself, directly reaching the second stage of the skill. This kind of talent was unheard of in the divine realm; even Yun Che could only produce one afterimage after a month of training. Smiling to himself, Xu Lin thought:
'Looks like purchasing comprehension payed off. But seriously, this talent is way too powerful. Not gonna complain about that though.'
Xu Lin proceeded to create twenty shadow clones, the maximum amount he could make without overtaxing his profound energy. After purchasing a True Profound Pill from the system for 50,000 credits, he let his shadow clones train their profound skills, while his original body entered the waterfall between the mountains and began to cultivate.
Everyday, he would repeat this routine: wake up, eat, cultivate, and sleep. Two months later, his profound strength had rapidly risen to the 10th level of the Spirit Profound Realm. His "Star God's Broken Shadow" reached the fourth stage, allowing him to create four afterimages. When Xu Lin imagined all of his shadow clones simultaneously using the technique, he could only imagine what other peoples' reactions would be if 100 Xu Lin's instantly appeared out of nowhere. His opponent would probably faint from shock.
While his original body was cultivating, Xu Lin's shadow clones also amassed a total of 1,000,000 credits from selling beast cores.

"Hmph, don't get too cocky. Spirit Profound Realm is still nothing compared to what this princess requires of you."
During these two months, Jasmine focused her efforts into purifying the Absolute God Slaying Poison, so she only periodically checked in on Xu Lin's progress. They hadn't spoken much during this time, since Jasmine didn't want to disturb Xu Lin, who was deep in cultivation.
"Thanks for the encouragement. You've really been a great master so far, sitting in that pearl doing nothing for two months. As your disciple, don't you think you should provide me some help, such as teaching me more skills, profound arts, etc.?" he sarcastically retorted back.
Xu Lin tried to extort Jasmine and guilt trip her into teaching him her other Star God techniques. However, Jasmine only scoffed at Xu Lin's response and said,
"Let me first see your {Star God's Broken Shadow}. Then, I'll consider it."
With a sly smile, Xu Lin took a deep breath and moved. His image started to grow blurry, when four other phantoms of himself suddenly appeared along side him.
As Jasmine watched him perform the technique, her black gemstone-like eyes grew wide with surprise, while her mouth widened into a big 'O' shape after seeing Xu Lin break out into four afterimages. To say she was shocked would be an understatement.
"You...you...you... Four afterimages!?! The fourth stage!! And in just two months!?"
Jasmine didn't even know what to say at this point. She looked towards Xu Lin with a strange gaze, as though she was watching some freak.
"Yeah, I've been practicing the technique for a bit every now and then. I think I've started to get the hang of it."
Jasmine almost spit out blood at Xu Lin's nonchalant reply. She, who was at the sixth stage of {Star God's Broken Shadow} after practicing for her whole life, could already be considered a peak genius among the Star Gods. Yet this random mortal she found on some backwater planet had already achieved the fourth stage! And in two months no less! If a little bit of practice here and there could allow some mortal to reach these heights, then what was her past 13 years of practice even for?
However, Jasmine quickly reigned in her astonishment and indifferently replied:
"Hmph, you pass I suppose. This princess was just surprised that a puny mortal in the Spirit Profound Realm could go this far. But you're still far worse compared to the people I know."
What Jasmine didn't mention was that the people she knew were some of the strongest and most influential people in the entire Realm of the Gods.
Though, Xu Lin was already aware of these things, and when he saw Jasmine's rapidly shifting emotions, he silently chuckled to himself.
'How cute. It's amusing, watching her try and act tough.'
It was at this point when Xu Lin suddenly remembered which stage Jasmine was at, and an idea popped up in his mind.
"Hey Jasmine, you're really powerful right? What stage have you reached in the {Star God's Broken Shadow}? I'm sure you're much better than me, after all, I'm just a "puny mortal" who cannot compare to your highness."
When Jasmine heard Xu Lin's innocent-sounding reply, her face was tinged with a slight hint of red as she embarrassingly tried to change the subject.
"Well...you only need to know that this princess is far superior compared to you. Anyways! I'll agree to your request now that your profound energy is higher."
Jasmine proceeded to teach Xu Lin some of her other profound skills, including the {Star God's Brilliant Annihilating Slash} and the {One Route Heaven}. With his comprehension speed and talent on full display again, Jasmine still had a hard time believing what she was seeing.
Eventually, after a month of training, Xu Lin fully mastered most of the profound skills taught by Jasmine. His profound strength also rose to the 1st Level of the Earth Profound Realm during this process.
'Those guys from the Burning Heaven Clan should be coming soon. I'll first take care of them and obtain the Evil God's Fire Seed after that.'
Xu Lin headed off towards the Scarlet Dragon Prohibited Region and hid himself near the den of the Scarlet Dragon. Soon enough, he sensed the auras of five Sky Profound Realm practitioners that were nearing him and listened to their conversation.
"Is it around here?"
"Correct, that red colored region ahead, should be the nest of that Flame Dragon."
"Are you sure that you've investigated the Flame Dragon's true strength clearly?"
"Mn, tenth level Sky Profound Beast! There should be no mistakes, with senior elder here, there's no reason that we wouldn't be able to dispose of it!"
"By the way, it appears that an Earth Profound Realm brat has been eavesdropping on us. Hmph, if he really wants to die that bad, I'll send him on a trip to hell right now."
The five cultivators rapidly closed in on Xu Lin's hiding spot and appeared right in front of him. The leader of them, the senior elder, stepped forward and spoke.
"Brat, I'll give you two options. You can either scram or die!"
When he heard the elder's arrogant words, Xu Lin mockingly laughed in his face. Unfazed by his threats, Xu Lin slyly answered with a smile:
"Hmm... no thanks. Instead, what about I ask you all the same question?"
After hearing his reply, the five cultivators, fuming with anger, tried to leap forward and attack Xu Lin but suddenly discovered that their bodies could not move.
"Though, it seems like I'll have to answer for you."
"One Route Heaven!"
As his voice fell, Xu Lin raised his finger in the air and made a small gesture. Five scarlet lines parallel to the ground instantly appeared in front of each person, radiating an intense and oppressive aura.
"So, who wants to go first?"
