Travis's pov,
At first, I didn't believe all this occurrence. But now after all these years passes away in my life, my faith in my fate was beginning to fade away. I started to believed that I was born to be alone and this is my fate. By thinking that, I lost my mind and went crazy. I stopped hunting or eating. I wanted to disappear like my mate and others. I decided to go too far from everyone. But at that time one person didn't leave me. It was Ilhan. After that, He went wherever I went. He's younger than me but he's so prudent and dreams of becoming a doctor. He did as he wants. He helped me a lot. Without him, I would have died a long time ago.
A few years later, when I went to bring my sister back. They didn't give her to me. I know the reason. It's because they are our close relatives and Trena needs a woman to take care of her. They hadn't had any children while they were raised, my sister only because they don't want to make her feel bad. So I didn't insist but I never went into their home nor meet them because I don't wanna be with anyone. Lennox's pov
While thinking about what Ilhan told me before. I said with an indifferent voice, "And she was me."
He asked me, "How did you know?"
I told him, "Because I already know why you saved me that day."
He again asked, "Who told you? Ilhan?"
I said, "Yeah, but by your sinister story, I'm sure about it. I remind you of your mate right?"
He was stuttering, "It..it's...no...no... not like-"
I began to cry and said, "You save me because I smell like your mate."
He told me, "No, It's nothing like this. I saved you because I want to."
I said to him while sobbing, "I'm sorry that I remind you of your dark past. I'm really sorry about that. But Can't you hold me in your arms?"
He came and embrace me so warmly. He told her, "Don't cry."
I put my head on his chest and grabbed his t-shirt while sobbing. Then I nervously asked him, "Can't you be with me instead of her memory? Hm."
No reply came from him. So I said, "I...I'm sorry. I have to go now."
As I was about to leave, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back to his chest.
I told him, "Let me go. I have to go now."
He put my face up and looked into my eyes. He wiped those tears and said," No, I'll never let you go."
I told him, "Don't joke at this time. Please let me go."
He let me go and knelt in front of me. He put a ring on the fourth finger of my right hand that he always put in the right pocket of his coat. He said, "Will you be my mate forever?"
I hugged him and said, "Yeah. Sure. It'll be my pleasure. Even though I know I can't be like Sierra, who was yours and I also become a vampire who is your rival. Still, I will try my best."
He told me, " I'll definitely protect you from anybody. I'll never let you lost me from my life like Sierra. I'll give you all of my heart. From now, you're my mate. I know it will become a disaster in my life to have a vampire mate. But I think I can handle it."
He wrapped my waist firmly and I wrapped my arms around his shoulder. We kissed each other so deeply. Then our two lips became one. He nibbled my lip slightly and then licked its pain away.
I told him, "Em wait."
He asked me, "Why?"
I blushingly said, "I don't know how to do it. Because it's my first time kissing. So I couldn't breathe while kissing."
He told me, "Really! You never kissed anyone before?"
I said blushfully, "No. I have never kissed anyone but you."
He said to me confidently, "That's means you have never fallen in love with someone else. Right?"
I told him, "No. You are the first one in my life."
He asked me, "Why?"
I told him, "Because I couldn't find my type and everyone there acknowledge me as a tomboy. All of them neglect me for the way I live."
He said, "Don't worry then. I'll teach you how to do it."
I told him, "But I have a problem."
He said with a worried face, "What is it?"
I shyly said, "I don't wanna do it here."
He smirked and told me, "Ok, Then we should go home quickly."
I said to him, "Let's go."
We went home and did the rest of our incomplete work.
