Jason Voorhees never thought he'd be so surprised.
The moment he heard Kaleb's screams of pain, he felt fear, despair, and anxiety. Three emotions that weren't that common for him to feel- the first time he ever felt true fear was when he was about to drown, the first time he felt despair was when he watched his mother get decapitated, and the first time he ever felt anxiety was when the Entity pulled him out of his home and into its realm of power.
Three terrible situations that he can't forget no matter how many times he tries.
So, to feel all three emotions all at the same time by hearing that scream of pain was like all his nightmares came true all at once at the same time. His fears clawed at his heart, trying to rip it out of his chest, and make him eat it. It was like he was crawling out of hell again, trying to find his way home, like he didn't know anything and was but a small child once more, waiting for his mother to help him. He didn't know how to react except to move towards the sound of his lover's scream, eyeing the door of their home as it opened and out came running the woman he dismissed as an easy prey that he could find no matter where she ran to.
He dismissed her because he thought she was harmless and only the two guys were going to be slightly of a problem, so he wanted to get rid of them first. One was limping and the other was carrying him, so they were going to be easy to deal with and then he could go after the woman... And that was what he thought. But she hurt him. He could hear it in Kaleb's voice, he could see it in her face of panic and fear, and he could sense it through the bond he and his wife shared- he was in pain, he was angry, and most of all, he felt murderous.
Blood lust that did not come from him spread through his heart, and Jason wondered if Kaleb got more than just parts of his physical strength? He was about to rush and kill the woman when a bright yellow bolt of pure lightning shot out of the front door. He watched as the woman's eyes widened in pain and fear as her body suddenly was pulled backwards into the porch of his home and hit her head hard against the steps. He knew by experience that she wasn't dead, but she was about to be soon- he watched as Kaleb came out of the house and he felt rage boil inside his heart. Kaleb's face was completely red, burnt scars splashed against his face like angry bright red spots and bubbling ulcers of heat.
Most of the damage was healing right before his eyes, but even through such powerful magical healing, a scar would still mark Kaleb's beautiful face... A scar that would symbolize how badly he failed at protecting him. The woman only got to the house because he didn't consider her a problem- he thought she was going to be harmless, maybe try to hide inside, but Kaleb could deal with her, right? He thought- He thought she wasn't going to harm him. She was just going to beg and cry to him like all his victims did, she wouldn't hurt him as a way to get back at him because nobody knows they're together anyway.
His hold over his machete tightened so much he felt it break under his hands, but as Kaleb stumbled forward, the pain making it harder for him to walk and the burnt left eye fucking up his depth perception to such a degree that he stumbled against the doorway painfully, Jason could only think about helping his beloved. Those thoughts faded away into lust at the full on aggressive, brutal way he looked down at the woman- Jason was surprised that Kaleb, innocent, cute, beautiful Kaleb would have such a cruel side! But hey, he is his wife, after all.
"YOU FUCKING BITCH!" The scream of anger that left Kaleb's mouth was one that rattled his very bones. Jason saw the very ground shake with the sheer anger of his lover, the domain they shared becoming agitated: "I was going to be fucking nice to you- I was going to try and comfort you, I was going to make sure you didn't fucking suffer- But NOOOO~! You just had to be a bitch, didn't you!?" Kaleb didn't even seem to notice him there as he approached the woman, who tried to crawl back and away from him with such fear in her eyes... Neither of them seemed to notice him just watching, but that was normal, since Jason can hide from pretty much anybody. "And you go and throw fucking boiling water at my fucking face!" Kaleb's fingers clenched hard against his hand, so hard he started to bleed- Jason wanted to go and stop him from harming himself, but he watched in morbid fascination as the blood from his hand started to... float.
The crimson droplets floated a few inches above his hand and started to spin, turning into these thin red needles of blood.
"Let's see how you like it."
And the red needles shot out towards the woman, sinking upon her flesh- Jason noted, with slight interest, that the needles all hit an artery or a main blood vessel that would cause someone to bleed a lot, possibly even to death. 'Is that what he wants to do? No, he wouldn't let her off so easily, right?' Before his very eyes, Jason watched something he has seen only once in his entire life: The woman started screaming, wailing like someone whonwas being flayed alive, but this red steam started to come out of her body as she convulsed. Screaming "PLEASE! I'M SORRY- NOOO! SOMEBODY, HELP ME- PLEASE!" as she quite literally boiled alive from the inside out.
His love was killing her by boiling her blood.
'Fuck.' He shouldn't feel like this, but the sheer brutality of this slow and agonizing death was doing something to him that he couldn't exactly describe. He lived for this kind of thing, he did it all the time- a lot of the people he killed were begging for their lives, screaming, wailing, and some just flat out tried to fight back. He remembers vaguely having a chainsaw fight with someone once, but he never made someone writhe on the floor in sheer agony like Kaleb was making this woman. She was clawing at her face, her eyes crying tears of blood, her nails falling off of her fingers, her hair falling out as she died and withered from the inside out with her boiling blood consuming her alive. The smell that came from her body was foul, like he was decaying while still alive but in a 'body left under the hot sun' kind of way, with the scent of decay so strong it was nauseating.
Kaleb, not used to such smells, seemed to tale a step back as his anger melted away in disgust: "Urgh..." He choked, shaking his head before he looked up- meeting his own eyes. He paused, freezing before he placed both his hands on his face to try and hide it, much to Jason's amusement: "Jay- fuck, don't look- I still am fixing it!" He sounded much embarrassed than he sounded sad or angry at his own new scars, which was good. Jason just tilted his head for a moment as he signed [Cute] to him, watching as Kaleb blushed and mumbled something under his breath. "Uhm... you didn't happen to, eh, catch all that, right?" Jason took a moment to ponder before nodding slowly, enjoying the way Kaleb writhed in embarrassment, trying to hide away said embarrassment by focusing back on the woman who was shaking and shivering on the ground.
"Uhm, let me just finish this..." He approached her barely alive body and snatched a necklace- it had what looked to be a gem of some kind, maybe a diamond? He also took all her othe jewelry before he grinned down at her, saying: "You will burn." With a flick of his finger, a small flame dropped down on her broken, withered body, and Jason watched as the woman wailed and died being burned alive! It took a few minutes because Kaleb, in his pettiness, kept healing the woman with his magic to keep her suffering for as long as he could!
After what felt like ages, the woman finally died.
'Damn, not even I would have done that...' Jason couldn't help but congratulate Kaleb on the sheer brutality of it all- plus, he couldn't deny the sheer boner that he got watching Kaleb be a brutal, ruthless beast. It was aggressive, it was bloody, and it was beautiful. 'At least she's dead-' With his eyes wide, Jason watched as this black shadow of a wailing woman formed before Kaleb's fingers. He clenched the necklace the woman had and the shadow was literally sucked into the diamond of the necklace, making it go from a transparent diamond to a deep black one.
He then placed the necklace on his own neck and turned around: "So, pretty right? It has the condemned soul of a woman that burnt my fucking face- *cough* sorry about that... It has her soul now. Right here." He shaked the necklace, smiling to him in such an adorable way- Jason forgot about everything and anything besides his love and this moment as he approached. Kaleb kept on talking though, as the ground beneath the woman's corpse started to swallow it burnt form down: "I could maybe make this necklace into a cursed little artifact- what do you think about it allowing the soul inside to possess the person wearing it? Then make her soul one of my little undead thralls- I did want to learn Necromancy-"
He stopped, looked up, and smiled: "Hi."
Jason sighed softly and placed a hand Kaleb's burnt side of his face, a look of sadness and anger passing by his eyes as he signed: [...Hi] before he went back to touch Kaleb's face- is it bad that now he feels like he loves him more? Because now Kaleb's face is just as damaged as his own? Is that selfish? [You look beautiful.]
"Thanks." Blushing, Kaleb kicked off a small teeth that had fallen off of the woman's mouth as he shyly looked up at him: "So, uhm, you wanna get back inside? I was... preparing you some nice tea and dinner, and then the bitch came in- and I won't talk about her anymore..." With a sigh, he placed his own hand on his face and it began to glow green again, more of the damage faded away before only this permanent line of blackened healed skin wrapped around his eye, eye that was now fully and completely white. "Urgh, my left eye's fucked now... I can barely see from it anymore. You think I'd look hot with an eyepatch?"
[You'll look hot without any clothes on.] Jason picked him up- he still felt guilty about this incident, even though it wasn't him who threw hot water on his wife's face, he felt like he was the one responsible for it. But he also felt undeniably horny, he saw Kaleb blush and wrap his legs around his waist as he picked him up and took him inside.
He passed by the kitchen- right by the dining room that Kaleb was waiting for him, he saw the enormous plate of meat that was waiting for him as well as a kettle on the ground. He decided- food first, then the dessert.
Tonight didn't go as he planned... But when did it ever? "So, tell me about your night-" Kaleb, like always, was the ray of sunshine in his gloomy night.
They soon engaged in a conversation, the two other survivors naught but forgotten.
