" I have so much pending at my company. I am so sorry…" She replied and stood up from the chair to leave.

Adrian and Katherine looked at each other. Then Adrian stood up from the chair and asked, " I have been observing you for a few days. You were so quiet and were trying to avoid everyone around you. Is this because of your father's death or do you think that we were one of the reasons behind it! " 

Katherine touched his palm to calm down but he already hurt Emily with his words. Martin was silently observing everyone around him.

" I never expected this question from you, Adrian. If I think so, I will never come and stay with you all…" she replied in a serious tone. 

She turned away and walked away from them. Adrian lowered his head feeling ashamed of his behavior with her. " I will convince her. Don't worry …." Steven assured Adrian and ran after Emily.
