As soon as they reached their villa, Adrian drove it to the parking lot and turned off the engine. Then he sighed and looked toward the sleeping face of his wife. His expressions softened at that. He still felt lingering emotions from the day after watching those pics at Ruby's place. He remembered how beautiful Katherine looked with a big smile on her face as she held her little Sam in her arms for the first time. He had seen that pic with Kathy in her hospital gown.

At this point, he couldn't help but feel at a loss. He had missed out on so much, and if they hadn't met again for the second time, he knew that he would have missed out on a lot more things. It was fortunate for him that Katherine decided to come back into his life. Otherwise, he wouldn't have forgiven himself in any way.
