Capítulo 23: The Most Annoying Night

Mi Ra was still waiting for Kyung Joon at Soekarno Hatta Airport patiently, she tried to call Kyung Joon a second time, but still there was no answer from the man.

Kyung Joon was busy with his own problems, he didn't really pay attention to calls from his fiancé who was in Jakarta at that time. Meanwhile, Lucia and Bertha had arrived at a five-star hotel, then Bertha immediately parked her vehicle in the hotel basement.

A few minutes later after parking the vehicle, Bertha woke Lucia who was sleeping soundly in her car.

"Lus, wake up ... we have arrived at the hotel," said Bertha, shaking her friend's body.

Confused thoughts, tiredness, and disappointment mixed together in Lucia's heart, so she wanted to forget all about it by running away from home. She wanted to sleep all night in a soft and comfortable bed.

Bertha knew how Lucia was feeling right now, but Bertha was also feeling hungry after almost an hour of trying to avoid Kyung Joon's pursuit.

This time Lucia was really asleep in her sleep, she didn't move an inch when Bertha woke her up.

"Lucia, wake up quickly ... do you want to sleep here and don't want to sleep in a hotel room? Lusii ... I'm hungry. If you're like this, alright it's fine," Bertha grumbled.

"After all, all of this is Mr. Kwak Kyung Joon's fault. He was the one who caused trouble with Luci, but I ended up getting deep into their troubles. It's so annoying ... if only he had never came and lived in Indonesia," continued Bertha grumbling -grunting, then she sat in her car seat while waiting for Lucia to wake up.

Luckily, that night they were already in the basement of a five-star hotel, if they were still on the highway, Kyung Joon might be able to find traces of the two women easily.

Kyung Joon was determined not to give up before he found Lucia, the woman who had captivated him so much that he forgot about Mi Ra in his native country.

As Kyung Joon's fiancé, was Mi Ra's desire to follow Kyung Joon to Indonesia wrong? If Mi Ra found out that her fiancé has betrayed, even almost married another woman in Indonesia, how would Mi Ra feel later?

A lie would eventually be exposed, even though Kyung Joon always avoided Mi Ra at all costs. Mi Ra didn't want to linger waiting for Kyung Joon to come to the airport to pick her up, she immediately called Mr. Kwak who was watching TV with Kyung Joon's mother in the living room.

"Eomeona! (Gosh!) Why has Kyung Joon not been answering my calls at all? Has he forgotten about me or maybe he already had another woman in his heart?" Mi Ra asked herself, suddenly Mi Ra felt that her fiancé was hiding something.

Suspect? Of course, Mi Ra suspected Kyung Joon because for half a year, Kyung Joon had been a bit difficult to contact either through chat applications, email or cell phones.

Mr. Kwak was very surprised when his wife suddenly thrust the cellphone at him, Mr. Kwak was enjoying tonight's tv show so much that he didn't realize that Mi Ra had called him many times.

Mrs. Ahn's face was pale and her eyes were wide, her heart was also beating fast because Mi Ra's name was clearly listed on Mr. Kwak's cellphone screen.

"Husband... Mi--Mi Ra called you," Mrs. Ahn stammered.

Mr. Kwak complained, he took a deep breath.

"I think at this time Mi Ra doesn't know their relationship yet, maybe she called you because she missed us both or maybe she wanted to chat with Kyung Joon," added Mrs. Ahn, trying to calm Mr. Park while she herself couldn't control her feelings. Curiosity, confusion and uneasiness arose in Mrs. Ahn's heart.

"Then you just answer the phone, you're a woman just like Mi Ra. As a future mother-in-law, you should be able to understand Mi Ra's feelings now," said Mr. Kwak, he said that because he wanted to avoid the various questions that Mi Ra would ask him .

"All right, my husband," said Mrs. Ahn with a faint smile.

Tonight would be the most annoying night for Kyung Joon. After failing to find Lucia and Bertha in various places they used to go, even to Bertha's parents' house also with Mi Ra's sudden appearance, would Kyung Joon still maintain his stance to chase Lucia everywhere and then married the woman or returned to Mi Ra?
