Capítulo 14: Alec and Alfred

Malik

Malik had his rules the Balthazar blood line set for him. He didn’t think anything as of late violated those rules, but alas, that night they came knocking on his doorstep. He opened the door and forced a smile on his face, “If it isn’t my old friends Alec and Alfred Balthazar.”

“Evening Malik Cromwell, we’ve much to discuss.”

“Is that so? Well, please come on in and we will have a little chat. Vanessa!” Malik hollered. She’d made her way into the front sitting room by the time all of them took a seat. “May I offer you a drink, gentleman?” he gestured toward her, Alec and Alfred looked at one another and nodded.

“I beg your ancient pardon?” Vanessa scoffed.

Malik shot her a stern look and trailed a finger across his neck in a slitting motion and her demeanor changed. “Hold out your wrists love.” He smiled.
