Sobbing sounds echoed the room.

Awaking the young woman who was lying on the bed. Her eyelashes flickered. Meeting the white ceiling first. She squeezed her eyes in agony. Trying to remember what happened. A scene of her coughing up blood popped up. Making the young woman gasped in realization.

Her movement and gasping sound caught the man's attention. His eyes widened. Running towards the young woman from couch. "Mara.." he softly whispered. Caressing the young woman's cheek as he gazed her eyes tightly shut.

Seemed like she was in pain. "It is ok.. I am here" Alek muttered. Holding the young woman's right hand firmly as his another hand was stroking her cheek. Mara squeezed her eyes. "Where am I?" she finally spoke. Asking where she was.
