Capítulo 15: Pybara's Training!
Pybara guided me towards the back, he wanted to ask me a few questions. I didn't refute and followed him to the back for questioning. Pybara may be a small guy now but he could utilize a technique called Giganticfication to increase his size.
He said to take a seat near a small table that required me to sit down next to meet its height. Pybara sat across from me in a slow and unrushed manner, he was still smiling.
"It really is strange, one minute you were a ruthless fella, killing people left and right. You were using those tree of might seeds to gain strength, but it eventually failed you." Pybara gazed landed on my chest, he seemed to be thinking of something.
"What do you mean? Well, I know what you mean, but things have changed. How do you know about me so much anyway, were you spying on me?" I was stunned, was this guy always watching me? If so, isn't that a little weird!
"Sort of, in some way. Those who have fate with Yadrat, I always know a lot about. Well, I watch them for a little, monitoring their behavior." Pybara smiled and said.
"Oh, then how has my behavior been?" I knew the answer, but I wanted to hear it.
"In the past year, good. Before that, hehe..." Pybara laughed when he got to this point and didn't bother to explain, we both knew the answer.
"It's amazing, though. Your personality did a complete 180 after your supposed death. That blast should have been the end of you, but you returned as if you were granted one more chance. If so, it looks like you're doing the right thing with that chance."
Pybara was still surprised about that whole scene, he had managed to come back—shockingly.
"Yeah, I understood my wrongs and wish to do the right thing from now on." It sucked that I had to make amends for the previous Turles, but I wasn't him and he wasn't me, however, I couldn't and wouldn't tell ANYONE that.
"Hmm, this is good. Nothing good comes out of being evil. My question is, why do you want to get strong? I can see that you have a strong desire for power, what is this all about?" Pybara grinned, as he watched my expression closely.
"To defend myself from threats, and to eventually kill Frieza. I came here to learn, so I could increase my training to overcome my enemies." This would be anyone's natural answer to such a question.
"Frieza, huh? Your answer is natural. However, there will be bigger threats in the future to come. Furthermore, Frieza isn't a bad start, I am willing to teach you but there are some things that you aren't ready for yet."
Pybara could tell Turles was telling the truth, he had trained bad and good people. But he didn't teach the bad ones for long, only teaching them one technique. Ginyu's Body Changing Technique was something he learned from Yardrat.
We started with one of the easiest techniques, Instant Transmission. However, I wanted to learn the Multi-Form Technique first. This Technique was easier than Instant Transmission, even people like Piccolo and Krillen could learn it.
The Yadratian version was better, it would allow my clones to retain their strength. Pybara explained it with ease. He said it required a lot of focus, patience, and meditation. He explained the simplest way to learn this technique.
It was all about dividing my Spirit up.
Thus, my training here began. The food here wasn't the greatest, so I brought my main ship down to eat from there. There were many Techniques that could be learned. I honestly wanted to learn them all.
Pybara said he'd only teach five Techniques for now.
The first thing I had to do before I was allowed to train here—was to wear their Yardratian outfits. I was about to be given the basic outfit that Goku and Vegeta wore, but I wanted the Yellow and Purple one.
I was being taught Spirit Control, but he said that I was too weak to fully grasp it. I could only grasp so much, so I had to wait until I was stronger, much...stronger.
This training mainly required me to meditate, it was truly too boring. I knew what I had to do with his explanations, but it was very time-consuming. I thought I would need to take about 3 months to learn everything, but it appeared that it would take much longer than that.
"Damn, it's a good thing I told Kaka...Goku to train more." I even told him to have Brief upgrade the training cube, so his strength could continue growing. I was currently training in the same area as Goku and Vegeta, supposedly.
Time passed and only a week had gone by. I was easily able to learn the Multi-Form Technique. To kill the boredom, I fought my clones before meditating again.
"Good, keep at it. Focus your Ki into certain areas of your body to initiate the skills." Pybara appeared in the distance and instructed. As of now, I was trying to learn the Instant Transmission Technique.
"I know! I'm trying!' I clenched my teeth and thought.
Pybara smiled, he seemed to understand my frustration as he was getting a kick out of it, somewhat. He would appear and disappear at a moment's notice, never sticking around for long.
I decided to take a break to go eat and take a nap, it was literally the only entertaining thing around here. The feeling of being bored would quickly slip away after remembering that I was learning such amazing skills.
However, I started to have doubts about Yardrat being the source of that virus. I could be wrong, but there was no way that someone like Pybara, wouldn't be aware of something like that.
"I guess I'll find out when the time comes." I could only wait and see. I went to eat and watched a few movies from this world. Dr. Brief had left me a few, there was a movie called Hunter Killer—it was a horror movie.
I was stunned to see how gory it was, the antagonist was similar to the predator from my world. The movie was shockingly good, I told myself that I would need to search for this dimension's movies later.
Afterward, I fell asleep and woke up the next day to continued my training routine.
Time passed and went by again, it took me a month to learn Instant Transmission. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. This was the Second Technique that I'd learn while I was here, so it was time to learn the third one.
However, I didn't start right away. I continued to practice Instant Transmission until I finally got the hang of it. During my training, I finally decided on a name for my cutting skill that I learned on Earth.
It was called [Scission Strike] from now on.
"It looks like you're ready to learn the next Technique. The next one you chose was [Spirit Link], right?" Pybara suddenly appeared behind me, with a smile across his face.
I was in deep thought when this guy's voice came over.
"Yes, I'm ready to learn Spirit Link." After knowing what it could do, I definitely wanted to learn it. The Technique worked like a phone, I would put my finger on someone's forehead and link with them.
This allowed me to communicate with them—almost anywhere, even if I was in a different universe or realm. I could even show them what I've seen and heard, while they could do the same thing if I linked with them.
"This Technique is fairly easy to learn. I'll link with you so you can get a better understand of it. As the one who initiated the link, I am naturally in control. I can cut you off at any time and start a link with someone else. Beginners can, at best, link with two people from the start, but if practice more, you'll be able to link with more people in the future."
I knew this from his brief explanation before when I chose this Technique, but not this much. I definitely wanted to learn it; they didn't have to always be combat Techniques.
Pybara hovered towards my face before putting his index finger on my forehead. I felt a tingling feeling in my forehead for a second, then there was nothing.
"Listen closely, hehe..." Pybara said. Afterward, he warped away.
"Hey, can you hear me?" Just when I was feeling confused, I heard his voice echo in my head.
"Yes, I can hear you. Is this what spirit link can do?" I nodded and asked.
"One of the things it can do, it can also send moving images, like videos. Here, let me show you... a little something." Pybaru chuckled before sending over an image in motion, well, a segment of something he had seen.
However, it wasn't what I was expecting. When I saw it, I almost vomited out all the food I had eaten previously!
"What the hell!" My expression turned pale. It was a segment of Pyabara inside a bubble bath, playing with a rubber ducky! He had the happiest smile on his face while doing it, his giggles in the video sent chills down my spine.
"Oh, my God! Ah, break!" I hurriedly and destroyed that motion picture in my mind.
"Impressive, you even manage to control your spirit to get rid of such a powerful and forceful image. You are the quickest learner I've ever taught, not bad." Pyabra appeared and nodded with praise.
"Not bad, my a**! What the hell are you sending me to see?" My eyes went wide as they twitched, who in the world would want to see that?!
"Huh, you didn't like it? I work out, you know?" Pybara rubbed his hairless chin thoughtfully.
"I don't care, don't send people those types of things!" My heart was racing, this guy was too over the top!
"Oh, well, your loss." Pybara shrugged and said.
'Then it's my loss.' I thought.
Pybara continued to explain the essence of it all. This skill connected with another person's spirit, it had no side effects—even if someone died, or was mortally injured, and so forth.
However, Pybara said that anyone who mastered [Spirit Fission] and used it on me—could sever my connection network with those I've connected with. Thus, I would have to establish a connection with them over again.
"Don't even think about it, you aren't ready for something as advanced as that." Before I could ask, I was shot down by him in an instant.
"....."
And so, my training on the third Technique had begun.
