Capítulo 124: Ric's residence (Part - 2)

Cairn backed off but there was no where to go since they were already surrounded completely. While Theo kept her eyes shut and head buried inside Cairn arms, Cairn raised her hands to surrender, "We meant no harm!".

She wouldn't had surrendered if not for Theo puzzling words that made her curious and anxious.

Those guards were pointing their gun at them and another guard asked Cairn to let that child (Theo) down.

Cairn wanted to do that, too, but Theo was so afraid that she kept sticking to Cairn, her leg wrapped around her waist and fingers tightly tugged at her t-shirt from behind.

"Pri… step down, there is no more lizard here," Cairn said to Theo while patting her shoulder.

Slowly, she opened up her eyes and the first thing she stared at was where she saw the lizard earlier. There was nothing but that made her more unsatisfied since from her opinion, the lizard might be somewhere closer to where she first saw it.
