Capítulo 84: Mother's plea

Prudence's mother turned to look at Prudence who was just as confused at the Mafia king's statement. 

What odds had she questioned she could not even remember. Was this something related to his trust or the odds of him actually hurting her family members? "His Grace, I do not remember questioning you about..." Her words trailed as she realised it would just be frames rudely if she spoke up like that. She needed to keep his temper in check when things had already folded this bad. Despite the fact that she had rested her trust in this untrustworthy man, it was going to take her some time to solidify it. 

Vincent stared at Prudence waiting for her to continue but the girl looked down as if surrendering to him. Her submissive behavior always came out stiff like she was never that person.
