Capítulo 46: Dreams

Prudence stood by the balcony in her room, feeling the night breeze. It was the first time she had come here and the view sure was good. Till where her vision stretched was a neatly cut grass with forest surrounding the manor grounds in a perfect rectangle. 

Her eyes were specifically fixated towards the manor entrance, waiting for Daisy to be here in good shape. 

It was obvious Vincent wasn't going to let her stand outside. With the option that he would be looming over her, Prudence definitely did not want to try that option. This room felt a little safe for her, even though Vincent could come inside anytime he wants. It was a burning curiosity for her now about how he was able to do that. Prudence had to hold her curiosity back. Getting involved with that man and his secrets was a dangerous game for her. It was safer for her to stand beside the quicksand than standing inside.
