Capítulo 38: WHY COME HERE?

"Does it hurt to get hit by a grenade directly like that?" Biserka clarified her question to Verasha.

"Then why doesn't she visit this room?" Verasha asked again.

Verasha's mind suddenly flashed the incident on the night where a grenade explosion hit her. Verasha then remembered someone screaming just before the grenade hit her.

"Bis, I suddenly remembered the night that bad things happened to me."

"You'd better forget it, Ver. So as not to traumatize you."

Verasha shook her head, "That's not what I meant."

Biserka furrowed her brows, "Then what?"

"I remember a mysterious man who shouted at me before the grenade finally hit me," she hissed.

Mataya's main headquarters waiting room looks more like a cafe. Again, the ivory white color is decorated with unique art carvings directly carved by famous artists, adding to the elegant impression of this room.

The atmosphere in this place is very calm, plus the scent of lavender room deodorizer wafting in this room makes people who come here feel more calm and relaxed.

Mataya deliberately made the concept of the waiting room at her main headquarters like that. The goal is that she can relax and calm down when she feels bored and tired with all her work.

"If you're stubborn about continuing your investigation, please leave BCIF to me. You can't carry the family business like that, Ben. Papa's business will be ruined if you continue to behave like this."

"The monster lair has power and position that is also strong, Ben. And even stronger than our Constanzo family. You know more about them than I do," continued Callista expressing all her thoughts and opinions to her brother, Benvolio.

"I can take care of both of them. Don't worry, if the time is right, I will give you the full BCIF," said Benvolio briefly without considering all that Callista told to him.
