He followed her and wondered what the cold reception was about. Clarissa was being more harsh than usual.

When they got to her room, Clarissa finally remembered that she had yet to see Dante. "Where is Dante? " she asked, the second the doors were locked. 

"He is having lunch."

Clarissa didn't realize that it was that time already. Considering Kieran had carried her around. The thought of it made her face feel hot. What was this feeling she had started having around him? 

Leonard was confused. Why did telling Clarissa about lunch make her blush? Could it be that she felt faint? "Clarissa, if you are hungry, I can have a meal prepared for you or we could go down to the dining room. I'm sure Dante would be glad to see you."

Clarissa was glad he mistook her disposure to be that of hunger. "That will not be necessary right now. I need to write to Gabriella and there is something I need to tell you."

"What is it?"
