Shortly after the outburst, the group dispersed to relax and think about the next day’s events.
Rowan respectfully bid farewell to her guests for the day and saw Elduine leave the room.
“Wait!” She called, running after the Elf. “Wait Elduine!”
Ever so slowly he stopped and turned to face Rowan.
“I’m so sorry,” she looked down. “I should have been more patient.”
Elduine shook his head and waved his hand, “He finally said his piece. It’s done. He finally said what he has been thinking for a long time.”
“Oh Elduine, he was so very angry. He’s your father but he’s so full of hate...”
Rowan went to say more, but noticed the look in Elduine’s eyes and decided it wasn’t the right time.
“Would you like to walk with me down to the river and back?” She asked.
