Capítulo 94: Chapter Ninety-Four

The penthouse is nothing but rapid burning luxury. The floor charred black, fires licking about roasting bodies, furniture and of course the crumbling ceiling.

"Cleo!" I scream, holding her in my hands, there isn't any bleeding to staunch, but the blade of light has done a number on her insides, the burning. "Cleo! Wake up!"

It's getting hotter by the second. I try lifting her up bridal style but I'm far too weak to accomplish it.

Her face turned white I slap across it, bringing some pink to her cheek as I scream, "I need you to help me help you!"

Her band is secure, I can't operate it without her permission and if I can't operate it then I can't call for help. 

Grunting I pull her up by her arms, sling them across my shoulder and start an awkward piggyback. My legs tremble, but they aren't the most concerning handicap, I can't hold her up with my one working arm, my other burnt and torn from battling Lantern.
