[The Raid Will Begin In Three Minutes. Please Make Sure You Have Everything Ready.]
A three minutes countdown timer appeared in the sky.
"Ziro, are you ready?" Alina asked as she intertwined her fingers with him.
"Yeah." Ziro nodded and said, "I am already level 16, and with those skills, I think I can manage fine."
Ziro logged out soon after the secret floor incident on Saturday, and he leveled up again with Alina the next day.
Ziro spent the rest of his time fixing Lily, but he was only able to recover 3% of her data.
He fell asleep while fixing Lily and woke up late the next day only to get yelled at for being late for school.
Alina had prepared lunch and dinner for Ziro and sent it through delivery at his home.
After eating, they logged into the game to participate in the raid.
"Still, stay with me and act as I say because I am the party leader, okay?"
"Oi!" Kiana pulled Alina's ears and commented, "At least, go easy on your boyfriend."
Alina shrugged Kiana's hand and turned to Kevin: "If she touches me again, I will kick you two out of the party."
Ziro glanced at Kevin and found him staring back at him. Kevin shook his head and sighed before saying, "Girls."
SIGH!
They both sighed.
Kiana and Alina raised their brows and looked at Ziro and Kevin.
"Did you two just make fun of us?" Alina asked.
"No. We were praising you two, right, Kevin?" Ziro turned to Kevin.
"Absolutely. Why would we make fun of you?"
Alina squinted her eyes and stared at Ziro with a blank expression on her face.
"What?" Ziro asked.
"Bitch is here," Alina muttered.
Ziro furrowed his brows and followed Alina's gaze with a puzzled look on his face.
He saw a black-haired girl approaching them with a wide smile on her face.
"Do you know her?" Ziro asked.
"You also know her," Alina replied.
The girl stopped in front of them and smiled at Ziro: "It seems you haven't recognized me yet."
Since the appearance of the players in the game was similar to how they looked in the real world, Ziro inspected the girl with his eyes and tried to recognize her.
Ziro looked at her from head to toe, and then his gaze stopped at the girl's chest.
"Oh! You are Sera!" he exclaimed.
"Did you just recognize me after looking at my breasts?" Sera asked.
"No."
"Yes, you did," Emilia commented.
"I did not," Ziro denied.
"I saw you too, and you did recognize her by looking at her chest," Kiana remarked.
"You are imagining things." Even though it was more than obvious, Ziro denied the claim as though he was innocent.
He turned to Kevin, hoping he would back him up as they both were males, but reality struck him in the game.
"You totally did," Kevin nodded in agreement.
"You bastard!' Ziro yelled inwardly.
[Please Proceed Through The Portal To Participate In The Raid.]
[The Portal Will Close Within One Minute.]
"Shall we go now?" Sera asked with a curious look on her face.
"Wait." Ziro raised his brows and asked, "You will be joining us?!"
"Yes. I am already your party member," Sera answered and walked past Alina. "Let's go, or the portal will close."
Alina, Sera, and Ziro entered the portal, but Kevin and Kiana remained.
"What's wrong?" Kevin asked Kiana.
"I am not trying to be a bitch here, but I thought Alina would be more of a jealous or possessive type of girl. But she acted normally even though Ziro was obviously ogling Sera's chest."
"Well," Kevin shrugged his shoulders and pushed Kiana into the portal with him after saying, "Their life, their rules."
All the players were teleported into an enormous chamber for a dungeon raid.
In the dungeon raid, all the players attack the monsters simultaneously, and the scores are given according to the damage dealt. The level and the difficulty of the monsters increase as the players keep clearing the dungeon floor.
Every 5th floor was considered as a boss floor because the monsters were powerful, and the rewards were higher than the regular floors.
Solo players had a disadvantage in the raids as they could deal a small amount of damage while other players in the party dealt more damage. And that's the reason the players always participated in the raid after forming a party or temporary party to share the rewards after the completion of the raid.
The Guilds had bigger advantages as the numbers of players were more in the guild.
The players who died in the raids or the players who wanted to retreat were allowed to leave the dungeon through a portal that spawned after every clearing of the floor.
Ziro nudged Sera with his elbow and asked, "I didn't know you also play this game, Sera."
"It seems Alina hasn't told you yet." Sera glanced at Alina from the corner of her eyes and said, "I am the top 7th player in the ranking of this game."
Surprised, Ziro turned to Alina, only to find her averting her gaze.
"So you have been playing the game with Alina?" Ziro asked.
"Yeah. We did play together sometimes, but we always fought whenever your topic came up, so… you could guess how it ended."
"Yeah…" Ziro grabbed Alina's hand and pulled her close to him. "Who else is playing this game?"
"Half of our school plays this game," Sera answered and chuckled, "Although, most of them don't like this game because there is no usage of real money here."
"They don't like grinding and working hard," Ziro muttered. "I can feel them."
[The Raid Has Now Begun.]
All the players stood in the defensive stance and waited for the monsters to spawn.
"Let me give you a protip," Alina uttered and said with a grin on her face, "Never bother clearing the first fifteen floors."
"Why?"
"You will know it soon."
