Capítulo 29: Fire Spirit Beast
Ziro walked past Allina and waved his hand at her without looking back: "I was never fond of my late grandfather— the previous king, but I admired him. He always made things happen, but I never liked his way of doing things."
"When I was a kid, he forced Nier and me to train sword fighting, martial arts, advanced training, and I always wondered the same thing."
"I always had one question in my mind: In this world, no one uses a sword or martial arts anymore. Everyone has their own weapons and robots as their bodyguard. So why do I need to go through this medieval training?"
"To be honest, I still don't know why we were trained. There was no need for it, seriously. And it's useless. I always hated my training, but I never hated my grandfather. I was a quick learner, so it wasn't much of a big deal for me to surpass my trainers and masters in no time.
"I am athletic and a medalist in all sports. Let it be sword fighting, Martial arts, Archery, Gun shooting, Melee. As the time passed, I started liking my training."
"And before I realized it, I was using them in my life as daily needs. I don't hate my late grandfather, and I don't regret my training."
Ziro looked back to Alina and uttered, "And as an Edens, I can't fall back from any battle."
"But you can't win!" Alina yelled.
"Maybe~ But I would rather die as a king than run away like a coward."
Ziro looked at the monster as it took shape. The blue fire kept gathering and forming into a 16 legged monster.
First, it shaped like eyes, spitting fire. Next, it slowly grew big and formed a head, then the rest of the body.
The monster was five times about the size of an adult human. It had eight legs on each side and twelve horns on its head. It had six wings, and its entire body was nothing but a raging fire.
After, Looking at Ziro walking towards the monster like that, Alina couldn't help but remember the other Alina's memories where Ziro hid Alina in his closet and fought the terrorists.
She gathered up courage and dashed to Ziro, thinking, 'I am not letting him do anything alone again. I will always be with him, no matter what happens.'
Alina grabbed Ziro's hand and intertwined her fingers with his, then said in a loud voice, "The one who lends the last strike and kills this monster wins. Let's see which one of us wins and which one of us loses."
Ziro scoffed and grinned at Alina, knowing well that Alina would never leave him alone in any situation. He took a defensive stance and asked, "And? What is your condition or term once you have won? What do you want me to do for you?"
Alina smiled at Ziro and uttered, "If I win, then you will have to promise me that you will never leave me alone, in any circumstances."
Ziro got ready to attack and glared at the monster with a serious look on his face, then muttered, "I don't need to promise that since I am going to win."
The monster roared and breathed scorching flames from its mouth t all over the chamber.
Ziro and Alina dodged it by rolling to the sides, but Alina dodged to the left, and Ziro dodged to his right.
Ziro caught his breath and glanced at Alina. "Don't die on me."
Alina conjured her second sword and said, "You too."
Alina was a level 48 player, and she had been playing LNA for nearly a year.
UP until now, she has participated in all the raids and events. Little by little, she grew stronger and made her name known in the game.
She was in the top 11th place in rankings of LNA. Her level wasn't as high as it should be to be a top player, so many players called Alina to duel and lost.
Alina never scored the top score in the raids or world boss' raids, so many players were oblivious about Alina and tried to bring her down, only to regret it later.
The reason Alina never scored top in raids was because of her overpowered skills.
All of her skills covered a large AOE, and she couldn't use them in raids. Had she used them, she would have killed all the players with her skill—- including the monsters and her party members.
Her skills also had a long cooldown time, and she only used her skills when she participated in events or fought alone.
Currently, she couldn't use her skills because Ziro would end up getting killed by her attacks, so all she could do is attack the monster's attention and wait for Ziro to attack the monster.
However, neither Alina nor Ziro could go closer to the monster as it kept flapping its wings one by one to keep them away.
Ziro gathered his strength and took a deep breath.
'You are a Edens, Ziro. And we Edens are born to rule over this world.' Ziro remembered his late grandfather's last words to him.
'I honestly don't care about ruling over the world, but if anyone is standing in my way of what I want, then I shall crush them with all my might. And right now, this monster is in my way!'
Ziro dashed at the monster and jumped on it to cut one of its legs. The air and the pressure coming from the monster was so high that if Ziro lost contact with the floor, he would be blown away.
Ziro swung his sword all the way to the monster's leg, and just as the sword was about to touch it, the monster started flying in the air.
Ziro was sent flying to the wall and ended up slamming to the floor after bouncing a couple of times.

Ziro had 13 HP left.
"Ziro!" Alina yelled and circled the room to reach Ziro. She used health potions and restored his health back to 125.
