Capítulo 279: Initiate

*Selene's PoV* 

Fang did not even turn back and look at me as getting lost in the crowd while I stood there in the middle of the dance floor. "Care for a dance?" I heard Hailey's voice from behind me. Bane left her side and walked away as I had already said yes to Hailey. 

"Sure," I flashed Hailey a forced smile. 

She immediately took the lead as we dance on and travelled a little to the middle. My eyes were still skimming through the crowd. Channing was still here as Fang had mentioned, but since Fang punched him back in the forest, Channing had been out of my sight. "Alone and desperately finding someone," Hailey caught my attention, "doesn't suit a princess." 

I stared at Hailey before Channing caught my attention in the corner of my eyes. 

"Don't," Hailey said immediately.
