"I don't have a girlfriend," Ivan retorted.
"Okay so was she your crush?" When he glared at them, Dylon scoffed, "Geez chill out, you looked quite flustered while talking to her so I thought maybe something is going on."
"I wasn't flustered, what the hell are you talking about?" Scrunching his brows, he snapped, "And why am I even listening to your nonsense early in the morning? Get out of here, I have lots of work to do."
"Will you take a break? We are here to just chill and hang out with our coolest big brother, is that too much to ask?"
Placing his hand on his waist, Ivan frowned, "You both are not supposed to be here and aren't you both grounded after what you both did yesterday?"
"Well, fortunately we aren't grounded." Giving each other a high five, the twins grinned.
"Even if you saved your asses yesterday, it doesn't mean you both will escape again. Darius—"
Cutting him off, Dylon snorted, "Even if Darius finds out, he wont do anything because we did not come here alone."
"Exactly, we came with Cynthia."
Scrunching his brows, Ivan asked, "What? Cynthia is here too?" When both of them nodded their heads, he curiously inquired, "Why?"
"We don't know."
….
Arnold's Dine-in
"What is she doing here?"
"How am I supposed to know honey? I didn't even know she was here until you told me," Arnold defended himself. When Sussane glared at him, he added, "I swear honey, I have no idea why she is here."
Crossing her hands in the front, she narrowed her eyes. "Well then why don't you go and find out."
"Now? I mean—" When she raised her brows, he quickly took off his apron and rushed outside.
….
When he saw Cynthia at the back of the restaurant, Arnold sighed. "Why are you here?"
"Is me being here bothering your wife?"
"When you know it bothers Sussane, why do you come here?" Without waiting for her reply, he remarked, "You know you are not supposed to be here at this hour, you know the rules of—"
Cutting him off, Cynthia smiled, "I know the rules Arnold, you don't have to remind me. I am early to finish some work."
"We open it only after sunset," he stated.
"I will be done soon."
Crossing his arms in the front, he asked her suspiciously. "Cynthia, what are you up to?" When she did not say anything, he added, "Just because I stay somewhere else, it doesn't mean I don't keep an eye on everything and everyone. Your activities have been very suspicious, don't force me to report it to Darius."
"Are you trying to scare me?" she chuckled. "I am not Rylan or Dylon."
Walking towards her, he gritted his teeth. "Listen, I don't care what you are up to but if I find out anything of this is related to Amber, I swear—"
"Don't you think you are being too protective, that too of a human?" Raising her brows, Cynthia scoffed, "Now I find your activities quite suspicious."
"Stay away from Amber. This is the last time I am telling you this," Arnold warned her before walking away.
"And you keep your eyes and nose away from my business." When he stopped midway, she added, "Despite the situation now, we are still from the same community, I have no intention of clashing with you in any way."
