Before Ivan could say anything, Daricus was nowhere to be seen. Walking towards the direction window, he stuck his head out. Looking at the bright afternoon sun, he frowned and yelled, "How on earth are you even roaming outside like a free bird when it's so bright today?"
Just then, Genny entered the office. Looking around when she saw Ivan standing near the window, she inquired, "Boss is everything okay? I heard your scream so—"
"Everything is alright, I was just scolding myself," he answered.
"This is the fifth time you have scolded yourself this week, are you alright?" she asked in a very concerned tone.
Closing the window, he nodded his head. "I am completely normal and everything is okay. I just need to let off my frustrations by scolding myself at times. It's just one of of my weird ways to deal with stress."
Keeping quiet for quite some time, Genny slowly closed the door and took several steps towards him. "I don't wanna sound nosy, neither am I trying to meddle with your personal weird stress revealing exercise but have you ever considered seeing a therapist?"
"Why would I ever consider seeing a therapist?" Sitting on the edge of the desk, he crossed his arms in the front. "Are you trying to say there is something wrong with me?"
Contemplating for a while, she answered, "You have been sleeping a lot lately, talking and scolding yourself. You also told me you are feeling stressed about something and let's not forget about the weird things you say when you accidentally fall asleep. So considering all these things, I think you should see a therapist."
Before he could say anything, Genny further explained, "You don't have to be crazy or there should be something wrong happening in your life to see one, you can take monthly or daily sessions from a therapist any time you want. I know a really great one if you are interested."
Keeping quiet for quite some time, he asked, "Do you have a card or something?"
"Yes, I'll get it right away." Without waiting for his reply, she rushed towards her desk and grabbed the card from her bag. Giving it to him, she explained, "She is by far the best therapist in the city. You just call her up and tell her my name, I'll talk to her about you today."
"How do you know her? Do you take sessions from her?" he inquired.
"I do when I am super stressed but apart from that, she is also my neighbor." Glancing at the watch, she added, "I still have a chart to make before the meeting, you should take some rest and don't forget to call her."
After Genny left, Ivan scanned his eyes on the visiting card. Flipping it over, he muttered, "Amber Carlton"
