"Death would be better off…", mutters Dela, grossly hating her state of being reduced to a captive queen, at the mercy of the tyrant and demon, Gorak.
"What did you say?", suddenly asks Gorak, his countenance growing even darker.
"Death would be better off than living like this!..."
Dela responds immediately in a louder, cracked voice, with pain in her eyes.
A few sad tears drop from her eyes as she begins to speak out of the pain in her heart.
"Keeping me here, covered in chains; bound yet free to roam about these horrid grounds filled with the screams of the tortured… my own people!
Treating me in the most humiliating and demeaning of ways possible like a lowly pet for your sick amusement… I would rather die!
Why keep me here? If you have no use for me, then why not kill me?
I wish I had died out there!"
