"A friend... that you killed?"

I asked, shocked. But then again... I myself had killed Raymond, whom I considered to be my friend so... I didn't have any right to be surprised.

But I didn't think Roxy could take such a drastic measure... So I was confused.

"Do you remember my butler, Zenon?"

"I think I do..."

I remembered the sharp-eyed boy I had seen with Roxy before.

I hadn't seen him so far, but I just had thought that he was guarding Lady Rubiat or something.

If Roxy was mentioning him then...

"I killed him, Arnold. I killed Zenon with my own hands."

She said as her smile cracked. I panicked seeing that.

I had touched on a sensitive topic... Even so, I had the responsibility to see through it.

"How did it happen?"

I asked gently. Roxy looked down and described the events that happened just after she had returned to her mansion after being rescued.
