When he left the Military Dormitory, Ellder had no hopes of Pez Milano whom he never met except once when he was 5 years old. The plan was that Ellder would just say hello to the old man and then head back home. 

  Who would have thought that Pez Milano thoughtlessly gave Planet Eden to Ellder, as well as gave a new name to Ellder? That is young master Eden Van Heinrich. An orphaned young man from the wealthy Heinrick family on Planet Eden. 

  Of course the name Eden Van Heinrich is just a fictional name and not real. A large castle on the shores of Lake Eden is the residence of the former Heinrich family which long disappeared due to the war between regions. And, Ellder had to play that role.
