Lu Xun stirred in his sleep when his phone started to ring its alarm. With a free hand, he reached for his phone on the side table and switched off the alarm.

His eyes were staring back at the ceiling as he tried to keep his mind calm. After a while, he finally turned to the person beside him.

Song Xing Xing continued to sleep and ignored everything around her. Her long hair was covering half of her face and her arm was rested on his chest.

Lu Xun moved to sweep her hair away from her face.

A gentle sigh escaped him as he watched her breathing silently in his embrace. The thought that her face was the first thing he saw the moment he woke up made his heart grow softer. Lu Xun couldn't help but think that the feeling was rather nice.

He really could not understand how could she sleep peacefully like this. Was she not afraid of what he might do to her? Did she trust him that much?
