I'll take his left, you take his right, Noe says to Daniel. Their hands snap apart as they bound in opposite directions. Shooting three fireballs over Adelaide's head, Noe blinds Adelaide while Daniel wraps round Adelaide's arms a length of indestructible realm rope. 

At the other end of the dust road, Rosalind and Feng Mian dance around Fadziso's spear that threatens to impale them. With Fadziso's physical body nowhere to be seen, the two are stuck combatting the weapon with no way of stopping it. 

The spear whistles towards Feng Mian's skull. Feng Mian ducks causing the spear to break through ten homes before it gains its bearings once more. Pointing at Rosalind, the weapon's eye propels itself ever so close to Rosalind's neck.
