She stealthily took her phone and took a photo of him.

His background was blurred but the yellow lights gave it the effect that she wanted.

He may be looking down but the picture was great enough for her.

"DId someone messaged you?" he asked seeing her looking at her phone.

She smiled and shook her head, "I just put it on airplane mode so that no one will disturb us."

He raised an eyebrow before smiling handing her the prepared food.

"You know..."

Midway their dinner, she started speaking.

"I never would have imagined that I would be in such situation. A candle lit dinner, a boyfriend who prepared my food for me. It was both simple and lovable."

"Is it the atmosphere that made you speak of such words? This is not like you at all," Slate instantly replied.

"I'm just trying to thank you. I know I was so busy for the past few days, it feels like I am neglecting you, that's all," she rebuked eating what was on her plate.
