Capítulo 36: Who knows if she will like it...
"Mum, what are you saying? Are you saying that I'm not capable?. My manager called me two minutes ago to announce the good news to me, and the contract has been signed already, so how can I be mistaken." Fu Meixu asked.
"Wow! That's such good news. We have to celebrate." Fu ChunHua is sad with a happy smile as she dragged her daughter up the stairs as the servants watched on with an obvious gaze.
Locking the door to her bedroom, Fu ChunHua asked, "The contract has been signed already?."
"Yes. My Manager informed me about it. Now, I have to prepare an outfit because soon, FJ Styles will be asking us to come over to have our measurements taken, and I have to look good as usual." Fu Meixu announced.
"I will take you shopping tomorrow." Fu ChunHua said to her.
Fu Meixu sighed in relief as a smile slowly appeared on her face.
"Now, I can't wait to taunt Fu Hee." Fu ChunHua said with an obvious smile on her face.
"Aunty wouldn't be happy." Fu Meixu said to her.
"That's exactly what I'm aiming for. I want to see her pissed off and not able to control her temper." Fu ChunHua said with a little excitement in her tone as she smiled to herself, as she couldn't want to defeat Fu Hee with the news.
Fu Meixu's drama was done to indirectly announce that she got into FJ Styles and that she just received the news from her agency, and not that she got into FJ Styles with a big help.
At the dining table, the whole family gathered again for dinner. And while eating, Fu ChunHua and Fu Meixu could not stop the smile on their faces from showing, but more especially Fu ChunHua. She couldn't wait to make the big announcement.
Glancing at Fu Hee, and seeing her eating her food elegantly like a brought-up princess, Fu ChunHua gloated over her.
'Fu Hee...Fu Hee, let's see if you can still eat your food peacefully after this news.' Fu ChunHua said to herself with a smile as she put some food in her mouth and chewed on it.
Fu Hee didn't notice the brief gaze on her, because her mind was on the food she was eating.
Putting down her cutleries with a little noise that attracted the gazes of other family members, Fu ChunHua smiled apologetically.
She apologized to them with a big smile on her face. "I'm sorry. It's just that I am too happy, so I got a bit distracted, please carry on."
Everybody went back to eating their food. Grandfather Fu ate his food with a normal expression on his face, he didn't look disturbed at all like Fu Hee.
Fu Hee and Fu ChunHua were rivals, and any time any of them was happy, the other would become weary of the other, just like now.
Earlier on, Fu Hee had noticed that Fu ChunHua was just too happy today, and she couldn't hide the smile, but she overlooked it. But now seeing her little actions at the dining table, she was sure whatever that was making her so happy like this, definitely wouldn't be good news for her.
"What's making you so excited?." Fu Geming asked with his gaze on her. He had noticed that his wife has been smiling since they gathered for dinner.
Fu ChunHua has been wishing for somebody to ask her that question, so she could talk. Now that her husband had asked her the reason for her happiness, why would she let the opportunity go?
Fu ChunHua pretended to be overly happy as the smile 😁 filled her face.
"Husband, you don't know, but Meixu got into FJ Styles. Her manager called her this evening to announce the news to her." Fu ChunHua announced happily.
Fu Hua pretended as if he didn't hear anything, and his facial expressions remained the same. But as for Fu YingPei, he almost choked on his food. Finally, he knew what his Aunt was playing at.
This revelation by her mother was an opportunity for Fu Meixu to smile happily as a broad smile appeared on her face.
"You should have announced such good news earlier. Meixu, congratulations!." Fu Geming said as he continued eating his food.
"Thank you, Dad." Fu Meixu replied with a smile.
Fu ChunHua had a smiling gaze at Fu Hee, who looked furious with the news.
Fu ChunHua was enjoying that annoyed look on her face, as her smile became provocative.
Fu Hee glared at her before looking at her sons, but none of them had their attention on her, so she looked more annoyed. She couldn't wait for the dinner to be over to ask her sons how the hell Fu Meixu got into FJ with that little capability of hers.
"Meixu, congratulations on getting in." Fu Juan said to Fu Meixu before continuing with her food.
"Thank you, Aunty." Fu Meixu said with a shy facial expression.
Glancing at Fu Hee, Fu ChunHua smiled as she looked away from her as spoke slowly.
"Some people are so jealous that Meixu got in with her capabilities, that they can't even congratulate the hardworking young girl making efforts by herself."
Then turning to Fu Hua, she said to him, but that was the greatest mistake she made that night, she shouldn't have directed any words to him, and now, she has to pay the price by being nominated before everybody, and her secrets, exposed.
"Fu Hua, you agreed to be fair in your judgment. A few days ago, you said you wouldn't allow anybody to get into FJ through the backdoor, and for that reason, you rejected your cousin. So now that she was selected because of her capabilities, what do you have to say about it?."
This time around, Fu YingPei choked on his food. He felt that his Aunt of his was very foolish. What got she had to say with her thick face that Fu Meixu got into FJ with her capabilities.
Which capabilities? Capabilities of getting in through the back door?.
Fu Hee felt annoyed that Fu ChunHua was making fun of her son now that her daughter got into FJ. But she still had doubts that there was a scam the mother and daughter did to get into FJ Styles.
Hearing that question directed at him, Fu Hua took his time. Hearing that question directed at him, Fu Hua took his time. He dropped his cutlery 🍴 and wiped his mouth with a napkin, before looking up at Fu ChunHua only to be greeted with that scorn look on her face, but he remained unfazed because he had an answer for her question, but who knows if she would like it.
"Actually I wasn't fair with my judgment."
These words coming out from Fu Hua's mouth caused eyes to turn to his side. Everybody at the dining table was shocked by the revelation.
It was only YingPei that knew what Fu Hua was talking about. He was about to release a bomb, and these people didn't get the hint, especially this foolish Aunt of his, who was smiling and couldn't wait for her turn to talk.
"At least now you have admitted to your wrongs, so Meixu and I will forgive you." Fu ChunHua said with a smile like she was offended but just had to forgive him because she was the elder.
"Fu Hua, what do you mean?." Fu Hee asked with a frown. She believed that her son, could not make a big mistake like this that concerned her pride, and besides, it looked like he had something else to say.
"I was waiting for this question, thanks for asking." Fu Hua said as he spared his mother a glance, but he didn't look grateful at all.
With everyone's gaze on him, he glanced at Fu ChunHua and said without mincing words.
"If Meixu hadn't gotten in through the backdoor, and YingPei hadn't pleaded to let her in, she would have been blacklisted by FJ, and then when the news spreads, it will be difficult to restore her reputation and land new jobs."
At this point, YingPei was the only one trying to control his laughter, so he covered his mouth with his hand and lowered his head.
The rest of the family members were shocked by the revelation and were ogling at Fu Hua and the angry-looking Fu ChunHua.
"Fu Hua what do you mean by the nonsense you just said?." Fu ChunHua asked in an irritable tone as her chest heaved up and down in anger.
Fu Hee smiled as she took some sips from her glass of water, but she knew this was not the time to butt in. It was rare for her son to talk, so she would allow him and give him enough screen time.
"If you keep denying all of these, then I will be forced to do a thorough investigation and bring all the evidence in front of everybody and the media, and by then, we will see who was actually speaking nonsense." Liu Longwei said to her, and seeing that she was still trying to say something, he added...
"Just refute my words one more time, and I will show you what Justice actually means."
YingPei choked on his water and began to cough violently. He couldn't believe his brother could be this mean. He didn't even care about her face and kept slapping it repeatedly.
Fu Hee couldn't hold her laughter as she laughed out loud. This revelation by her son has indeed made her happy.
She couldn't believe that Fu ChunHua would be this shameless and thick-skinned to go through the backdoor and come to judge her son.
What a shameless woman!
Fu Meixu was so embarrassed that she began to hope the ground would open and swallow her up. But as for Fu ChunHua, she was so angry that she couldn't hide her facial expressions.
"Are you treating me?." Fu ChunHua asked in gritted teeth, but Fu Meixu touched her arm to calm her down. it would be better if she swallowed her anger before she got her into trouble.
"Aunty, you should know me by now that I don't play with my words. Just deny these facts, and I will dig up everything related to this matter. Excuse me." Fu Hua said as he stood to his feet and walked out of the living area.
He was angry as well that his Aunty was playing around with his company. He didn't like the fact that she decided to play her games in his company.
Fu ChunHua was so choked up in anger that she didn't know what else to say again. Fu Meixu kept patting her thighs to stop her from talking.
Right now, Fu Hee was laughing so hard that she couldn't control herself. She found the situation very funny. She couldn't believe things would turn out this way.
Thinking about it, she laughed with her hand over her mouth.
Grandfather Fu was currently looking at everybody. He was quiet as he observed everybody.
He knew with what Fu ChunHua did, Fu Hua was very angry about it because normally, he could have continued eating after exposing her, but he walked away, which meant that he was truly unhappy.
Shaking his head, he put down his cutlery and shut his eyes. Opening them again, he faced his second son and asked, "When are you leaving with your family?."
Everybody at the dining table was shocked by the question, because they knew for the old man to ask this question, he must have been fed up with Fu ChunHua's drama.
It took a while for Fu Geming to regain his senses, so he cleared his throat and replied to the Old man awaiting answers.
"In two days."
"Leave tomorrow, you are done welcoming me. You have been absent from work, and it is not right." Old Mr. Fu said.
Who would dare to refute his words? His words were not negotiable.
Receiving the decree with regret in his heart, Fu Geming drank some water, While the Old man left the dining area for them.
Fu Geming was ashamed of his wife, and because of her, the old man was asking them to leave. Sometimes, he didn't know how to deal with his stubborn wife.
Fu ChunHua's facial expression became more ugly, so as Meixu. As for Fu Ling, none of this concerned him. He was just quiet as he ate his food while thinking about other things.
