Chapter 43: Monkey Gang

"I will pass you more soldiers too," Lord Fabian said while munching the banana, "Our level can not be comparable to the abnormality called players, but my city is mostly visited by players around your current level." Thus, they could manage against players and protect Michu's territory in his absence.

For NPCs, it wasn't just log in and log out.

They needed to have their place in this world, a roof over their heads. In this different world, the residents also wanted to be a significant part of this world. A part of this was because of players that in the past used to call the residents bags of experience.

Michu's eyes and attitude had never revealed such thoughts, "Thank you!" The monke thanked the lord, then looked over his banana farm.

At the beginning of his journey, Michu's sole goal was to get to the banana farm! He wanted to sell bananas and share his passion with the world, but the primary force was to change his real-life situation.

The Monkey God's Spiritual Will made this real!

Now, Michu had two golden bananas in his inventory and planned to farm much more! He would sell them later on and see whether it would change his life as much as he had imagined in the beginning.

But this world was already something he loved too much. People he had met here were all nice and they never looked at his family nor friends. They were looking just at him! And though the meetings were different with many, a lot of good friends were now on Michu's friend list!

There were also bad people, but Michu didn't want to think about them at such a nice moment.

He got his farm and it would increase with more levels! What Michu wanted was another goal! Though his banana farm could fail him too, Michu wanted another goal that would still allow him to change his life; just in case.

"Oh, I know!" Michu laughed out loud.

"I am finally back!" Sandra stretched out her body, but to her surprise, the monke didn't react much and just laughed at her! His eyes hovered around her face, so she peeked at him with an interest.

It seemed like Venomous' incident brought these two closer!

She smiled and continued, "The first subclass turned out to be a chore of quests, but it's finally time for some action! But I have to ask first, are you two dating already?"

"Dating? Me?" Michu pointed at himself, but then shook his head, "Nope!" The monke wouldn't be able to be a good boyfriend anyway!

Sandra didn't push further. She could see that Venomous was different and Michu spoke good things about her, so she believed in the exuberant monke. It wasn't like she had to think about Venomous anyway.

The witch corrected her hat, then asked, "Don't you have warrior quests, Michu?" The question brought a faint grimace to the monke's face. He didn't have any mentor nor anyone to guide him!

But with the incoming quest, the monke planned to bring KongFu's spiritual will back to the world! This quest appeared so suddenly it had some meaning behind it. "Ah, I have a class quest! Haha!' Michu realized that they had been on their way for his monkey class quest, so he caressed his chin and added, "You will be surprised."

"Now, you made me curious!" Sandra pouted and sent a side-glance that nearly made Michu say his quest's content. She stopped before the fun would stop, then hummed along the way.

The confused monke asked the question he had been holding all this time, "Uh, you must be good with black magic."

"Black Magic?" Sandra tilted her head. She was called the witch by Lazy Bum and others picked this up too! But no way she would own black magic as it was a completely foreign fantasy world to her!

Michu then took out his system windows and explained, "So how do you... record a video? It's different from photos, right? I can't find it..." He rubbed his nose and awkwardly smiled. By now, Sandra understood what that black magic was!

She curled up her lips and brought her face closer. "I can't see your personal information, even in one party, so where is your window more or less?"

"It's here," Monke pointed, then sniffed the unique fragrance! Though he promised himself to not beat the drum around the women, he couldn't stop his nose! Michu ought to explain himself, so he said, "It reminded me about our dungeon raid! Hehe! It was fun." And he had more than a smell as he also held her back then!

Michu dropped the topic when he finally learned how to record his journey, "Thanks!"

"Are you going to make some samples for Nana?" Sandra asked with a little softer tone. It seemed like her expression of Nana was great.

Michu instantly bowed, "Thanks for spending time with my sister! She likes this editing!"

"No need to be so formal, Michu. I was also lucky to have someone to teach me, so it just feels right to share knowledge, especially for Nana who had taken great interest in it." Sandra ruffled Michu's hair and forced him to stand up.

He then answered her question, "I will give samples to Nana, but I want to get cool videos about my journey too!"

"Hmm~~" Sandra contemplated, "If you get lucky, then you might get noticed by others. Your style is fun-"

"Our dungeon ride was also fun. I believe we would be able to convey our fun to others through it!" Michu smiled, but nothing covered Sandra's face. She avoided his gaze and became a little too silent.

Looking down on the ground, the witch suddenly became someone else. Michu didn't know what wrong he said, so he just asked, "Is it no good?"

"It is a good idea, but... I don't think I want to be in your videos," The witch's eyes never retracted back to Michu.

He stood startled, her words reverberating within, "My videos? Ah, I am sorry." Taking the blame for his 'videos', Michu apologized and planned to drop the topic. He looked sad and Sandra couldn't bear to see him like that.

It felt like the whole world suddenly betrayed him and she was the catalyst, "I meant videos as a whole. I just don't want to appear on videos! That's it..." Sandra explained, but Michu already had a different impression.

People often said he had a stupid smile. They told him he was more stupid than a monkey yet he found those animals to be different! At this very moment, Michu couldn't think otherwise and blamed himself.

Even though Sandra thought otherwise and liked both his smile and genuine heart.

"I understand! No more videos..." Michu nodded and decided to bury this topic deep within his heart. He never expected to see such a Sandra whose excitement could be as loud as his!

Back then, they had run around and fought together against monsters just fine! This cold and distant appearance left a deep impression comparable to the scar on monke's heart...

In silence, Sandra tried to speak about different topics, "Is it a quest for equipment? I hope so because I can see you are using old and low-leveled robes."

"Uh, yes... No... This quest is different..." Michu replied belatedly and confusion seemed to grow deeper within his eyes.

He had various thoughts coursing through his mind, a heart bleeding as well. Was it too much? For the monke who lacked social skills, it was too much. He felt like he made a wrong call and he couldn't stop blaming himself for it.

His friend also seemed hurt and what could Michu do or say to fix it?

"Michu... It's just a video. Why do you have to look so sad?" Sandra also tried to fix it.

"Because... You are usually so cheerful and your smile never fades. It's a beautiful part of you that I just somehow broke... I can't forget about it." Michu replied and looked down.

It took a lot of courage for Sandra to utter her next words, "Just for us... You can make a video just for us... But no one else..."

"Okay, but it's sad you don't want to share your smile with everyone else." Even Nana or Venomous wouldn't be able to see it! It wasn't a picture that Venomous and Michu had which had both of them in intimate time.

"Is it bad that I want to keep it just for us?" Sandra inquired.

"No... It's not. But I feel like it would be fine to share between friends and our families. They would be happy, wouldn't they?" Michu smiled, "They would watch the video and laugh together with us! We all would spend time together..."

"..." A faint barrier broke within the witch's heart, "Keep this video just for us now... We will see later. Maybe I would edit it personally and I would prepare a surprise for Venomous? There's no need to be hasty," Sandra spoke. She looked better and even relieved, a faint smile lingering on her face.

As Michu's eyes never betrayed him, he looked at her with a relieved smile too. "You look much better, Sandra. Do you want to take a ride?" Michu pointed at his back.

The witch didn't refuse and hopped on him. With his hands tightly holding her legs, Sandra leaned down and enjoyed the monke's back that was far from uncomfortable. She peeked at his face and said, "We are going to Azure Forest, right?"

"Yeah! I heard there are monkeys here."

"Of course. But have you heard about the monkey gang?"

"Monkey Gang?"

"Haha! Read forum, silly... It's a unique pack of monkeys. They are called mini-boss of this forest and there's a quest to take them down."
