Capítulo 50: Trapped

The panic intensified; minds zipping from one unrelated thought to another as cold sweats heightened their shivers. The sound of hearts pounding heavily loomed over the Banquet hall, along with the indistinct sounds of teeth chattering noisily.

Further heightening the horror, a whirring sound birthed and began to travel about with ease with deafening intents. A large number of the hall's inhabitants who were either still standing or glued to their seats, then slumped to the hard floor impulsively; guards and nobles alike were subjected to the floor in a kneeling position.

With both hands cupping both ears, everyone wailed bitterly; the turn of events unfazing Briceus who was still Rage-blind.

The screeching sound increasing in might, began to pierce its way into their heads regardless of the barrier they had created with their hands.
