Capítulo 89: Lingering Shadows

"It seem like the people still remember princess Johanna, even though his majesty has forgotten her,"

Eugene remarked as the humble festival lights danced in the night sky. 

Nesrin furrowed her brows together at that. Not only his words were like needles to her heart, she was also surprised to find that remembrance festival occurring even in the northern kingdom.

She had purposefully avoided Iyanora to not see anything awkward, but apparently there were more than one places which celebrated that festival.

"Indeed! Indeed!"

A cheerful old man commented when he heard Eugene.

They were simply walking through the paths of town and were supposed to meet the sick maiden of a feudal lord, but there were too many distractions that caught their attention.

Nesrin glanced at the old man.

"But why such a festival...? She was just an ordinary princess,"

"How would you know?" the old laughed.
