The tree branches rattled as though the wind had disturbed their hollow bones. The night had settled in again. Agatha and Zeir discussed all day how they should proceed further. They couldn't decide on any plan of action.
Standing outside in the night between the ruined houses, Agatha shrugged. "Do you think we have made a mistake by coming here on Elytreea?"
"If we hadn't, you would still be thinking about it and wouldn't be able to be happy. At the very least, you require closure." Zeir sat on the crooked porch, the wood creaking under his weight with every inch he moved.
"We have been on Elytreea for a few days." She heaved a deflated surrender sigh. "Every step I take into this new world saps my hope of finding my mother and sister alive and well. I am not sure how much longer I can stand it."
"There is a much faster method to find out everything, but you won't like it." His brow furrowed as he awaited her response.
