Capítulo 58: A Different Hope

At the first heartbeat, Hope suddenly sat up gasping for air. Before even stabilizing her breathing, she began to touch her body to see if everything was fine. She still had two hands, two legs, the head was still on her neck, and her neck on her shoulders.

She didn't feel any different, though her heart was pounding. Hope knew it should have calmed down already, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something went terribly wrong.

Both Terix and Typhoon Draconian were looking at her, not understanding why she was so disturbed. Most likely, they had not experienced a similar reaction. The younger man put a hand on her shoulder. "Do you feel alright? I am pretty sure I removed all the poison on time. You shouldn't experience any side effects."

Hope shuddered when she heard her own hoarse voice. "Everything seems fine to me. The poison probably isn't to blame. Just the feeling of being out of place bothers me."
