"She must want something from us." the lady mused.

"Anna, just like other Xander families, is greedy for power, so she couldn't bear to leave the Xander family. As of the marriage alliance with Keller's family, she knows that I can target Kyle and Aiden if she try anything." Ethan laughed. 

"Don't be so over confident!! Anna is not a fool to let you play her. Given her personality, she must have backup plans to handle this situation. She is waiting for something. Something is stopping her." The lady argued. 

But she was wise enough to not cross the line. She might be close to him but she is still a subordinate. 

"If she has backup plans. I have too. You can't forget my trump card, right?" Ethan laughed and a dangerous glint appeared in his eyes. 

"True." the woman agreed. 

They indeed have a trump card that can make Anna listen to them like how a pet listens to their master.
