A tear came rolling down his right cheek. And it was something she had never seen him like...so vulnerable, so sad.

He was a strong man, in her eyes, she had never seen him like that...not with tears rolling down his cheeks at least.

She had seen the worst of him...the manipulation, the rude side, the possessive and obsessive side, the cruel side of him, the side that would purposefully inflict pain on her...anyone just for the sake of hurting.

He was a complicated man, who never was used to taking a no for any of his demands and she had faced all of that throughout their marriage.
