"Introducing, Rahmoth! Thought to be a descendant of Mothra!" Bug God's introduction echoed all throughout the arena in the cavern.
'Where the hell did it come from?' I wondered. It was way too big for it to have just been chilling somewhere in here.
The moth monster, Rahmoth, was a large moth, around 2.5 meters (8'2) in height. Its wings had orange and yellow patterns mixing and matching along its back constantly, like they were alive. It's red eyes stuck out of the side of its head, and seemed to be constantly staring at you no matter where you stood.
"Not 'said to be,' I AM a descendant of Mothra! She was my great great grandmother! Though she was a lot stronger than I am, I am still more than enough for this human!" Rahmoth had an extremely high-pitch voice contrasting to its intimidating and large figure. If you didn't see it was a giant moth, it could be mistaken for a little girl.
'With this voice I'm honestly thinking that this moth looks kind of cute, and now that I look some more, it seems pretty fluffy. What kind of moth is this?' I wondered to myself as I watched Rahmoth argue with Bug God for a little bit.
"Right. Uh, let's start the fight! Entertain us, human!" Bug God lifted both his arms, signalling the crowd for a sort of countdown.
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"FIGHT!" The crowd cheered as the moth shook its body, turning completely invisible as flakes of something fell off of it.
Scales perhaps?
'Explains why I couldn't see it I guess.'
I looked around, I was still in the middle of the arena, so Rahmoth could be anywhere around me. I also tried to listen for movement, as there was no way anything that size wouldn't make any sound.
As I started focusing on sound, I heard the sound of something similar to a generator.
I glanced toward the sound, being careful of it being a distraction and noticed a bright orange light, and then a flash, as I could barely see some sort of plasma being fired at me.
It was slow enough for me to react, but I wasn't sure if I could dodge, but I'd have to try.
My eyes faded from cyan, to blue to purple quickly. I seemed to notice a change in myself too. Has this happened before? Why could I tell my eye colour changed?
I had also noticed an increase in my thought speed as I narrowly dodged the electric projectile.
Out of curiosity, I tested the abilities I had in my half-awake state but found I could use none of them, so why could I see extra things? I could even see behind myself. Strangely enough, I didn't notice until I started fighting.
My darker purple eyes started to brighten slightly as I dodged the barrage of lasers shot at me.
Did I mention that one attack shot multiple projectiles?
I suppose not.
I weaved through them trying to get closer to Rahmoth that was barraging me.
'If it could shoot this many things rapidly, why even bother turning invisible?'
It got harder and harder to dodge as I closed in, as it should, but as I focused more and more, my vision seemed to tunnel onto Rahmoth, my eyes had also faded into a lavender.
This is a strange experience now that I have that 360 vision. With my normal vision focusing on Rahmoth, I can also 'see' all the movement behind me like a sixth sense.
Strange experience to say the least.
As I stopped being able to walk forward while dodging, I made a leap of faith. I could have probably moved to Rahmoth instantly if I acted instantly instead of staring at the light like an idiot.
'Wait don't moth's stare at lights?'
I didn't think I needed to use that weakness, but it would be good to keep in mind.
Anyway, the leap of faith worked as the moth seemed distracted by his own lasers. Good to know that's an actual weakness that I don't really need to exploit, since it seems it did it itself.
I landed on top of Rahmoth and used my hand like a knife, much like I did with the caterpillar.
I manage to break through the carapace with a well aimed stab of my hand to the back of its head.
"Gross!" I waved my hand to get the bug blood off. No way I was letting that get on my clothes, what if it stains, or worse, smells!
The moth collapsed with its pine-like antennae drooping to the sides.
I was honestly glad it ended so easily. It would have probably been more of a problem if he didn't get distracted by his own pretty lights.
I looked at Bug God as my eyes faded back to green in a quick flash of colours.
"What!? How? Rahmoth was one of the strongest Tiger level monsters we had! Fine, then I'll deal with you myself!" He cackled confidently as he appeared in the arena.
I saw him move there, but it was faster than me. Let's just hope I can hold up enough so I can get a hit in.
"I'll have you know that I am a Demon level monster! The likes of which a human like you would never be able to beat!"
'Not exactly sure on how strong that is.' But I prepared for a rough battle anyway. Just seeing his speed I was sure he was stronger than me, and with all these monsters along with that, there is no way I am going to escape.
"Ride or die." I told him.
'I have come to notice that I don't talk out loud a lot.' I thought of a completely irrelevant comment as Bug God suddenly appeared in front of me.
"GO!" He yelled as he kicked me in the side of the head, knocking me unconscious instantly.

A/N: Next chapter is probably gonna be fun if I remember to write like I am thinking of.
Imagine reading the authors note AGAIN.
