Capítulo 10: Chapter-10 (Beginning of Journey)
Next Morning ------
The next morning was overall good just the sound of blowing wind, moving trees, ocean waves, and tide.
Phoenix duo sang a melodious song as the sun did what he always did shine the brightest of all waking Corvo up in the best way possible.
After he woke up he found flex and flor next to him fighting for who would be first to be pet by him seeing their childish behavior and cuteness he starts petting and caresses their head carefully.
After a minute or so he left for Lily(His dragon pet), he mentally cast [Levioso] on himself and slowly going up in the air while trying to perfect his balance.
He continued to concentrate more and more erasing other thoughts in his mind as it was thrilled with the thought of flying.
" I thought it would be easy as I watch him flying on the first try that man..." He complaints as Will flies out on his first try in the memory, he had seen during the ritual.
' What I have to do is to imagine, focus and feel
easy isn't ' He thought as it wasn't that easy as he was shaking and spinning around in circular motion.
' I have to do it step by step....' He thought as he somehow managed to reach Lily's house(Her den) by spinning, rotating, and suddenly stop as he was about to throw out but didn't as he was empty stomach again.
*GAAARRR
Hearing her roar he lost focus and fall on the tree and start puking as his stomach was hit by a thick branch stopping him from falling from the process.
She rushed to reach Corvo and destroy an area as she lands near the lake and again roared as she owns it making other small beast runaways in fear.
He recovers and sits on the branch ready for another flight, as the tree was quite tall and thick Corvo kicks his left on and jumps with maximum power to fly, shaking off the tree.
" Yooohuuuuuu!!! " He shouted and hit the lake disturbing its peace, cold water was also splashed on Lily.
She retaliates with growling and starts shrinking in size till she becomes 10 meters tall as it was the ability of her blood lineage.
The lake was large and beautiful many beasts and the monster was there but all friendly as Will had tamed and prepare them to cooperate, not to harm humans if they don't harm you first.
He was mesmerizing by the sheer size of it from the outside it was just some 50-60meter lake but from inside it was as large as an ocean just another world were the word to describe its beauty.
From small wild living plants to mermaid he didn't disturb them and just observe from far as it was not thrilling but was interesting to see the unknown.
They all observe him but he didn't move an inch just staring at them, they start approaching him carefully with a little fear as they thought that he might hurt him as he just blasted in their home.
The first was a mermaid with Trident moving toward him acting to kill and threaten him but to her efforts, he just stands and smiles in return shocking them in the process.
' Out of oxygen ' Feeling he can't hold on to the breath he takes his wand out the mermaid stare and growls at Corvo he pointed aim at her and her other friend came in to protect her.
He then changes its aim to his neck for Transfiguring that gills for oxygen.
Seeing this other calm down and the growls, start talking.
" Helloo new kid~ Sorry for this~ it was just to that you are either good or bad~," She said in a melodious tone it was like she was sing and talking together quite interesting.
" Hope you get what~ you want~, " He said trying to copy their way as he can communicate with them but his neck was hurting as it was sing in high pitch like them as his gill were not able to adapt.
" You know how to talk with us? "He asked in a surprised tone this tome without sing. " Are you the new guard " Other asked widening their eyes.
".....*nod " He just nods and smiles.
' They are indeed...no this island is indeed a fascinating place ' He thought and look at each other.
All of them continue to talk and communicate.
Even take Corvo with them as they have a big community deep in.
Offering him to join and talk to their leader or the person who is high on their hierarchy.
He spends hours with them talking and enjoys hearing their history with Will saving their daughter and their survival in here, boasting their ancestors, eating new things, and know new magic related to water and some nonverbal and wandless magic Will taught them.
Overall a win-win day as he had their trust, he learns about their ritual their system.
" What a great day," He said as they were happy and again offer him to sleep as a guest seating.
He lyes and sleep as he had drunk water-jelly wine and pearl vodka with green slime juice there best underwater beverage they create for festivals.
