When Govad left Phoenix City, it was almost morning. 

The parties in Mandala Quarter never stopped, but the feast was winding down with only a few people in small groups, drinking and talking while listening to music. The main characters had retreated to their rooms with heavy hearts, feeling the burden of the coming end. 

Samiel could not sleep. 

He had a heavy feeling of foreboding when he thought of Govad. He knew he could not stop the fiery guy from going to find Ariel, but he felt unsettled. It was as if he was missing something he should know. 

As the sun rose on the horizon, he left his bed and walked to Shekansha's door. He knocked lightly before stepping back. He waited for a moment before the beautiful woman came to open up for him. 

The beauty of the gorgon woman was the type that could inspire the worship of every creature on earth and inspire countless wars. And in the dim light of dawn, she was an ethereal image.
