Abaddon turned back after giving the people from Farallon a warning look. He put his hand on Aisling's, and the turbulent aura became subdued. She looked at him and smiled in reassurance, letting him know that she was alright. 

The primary drawback of her increased mental energy was her limited control. In essence, she was like a child who had been suddenly handed a powerful weapon after returning to her body. Her power increased drastically due to her otherworldly experience. 

Consequently, when she returned to her real body, she did not know how to grasp the energy completely. If she lost control of her emotions a little too much, she would experience some instability in her powers. 

"You might be attacked if you keep showing off your love," Ariel spoke again, even though Aisling had not responded to her original words.
