Aisling giggled at the stunned expression on Abaddon's face. A sense of satisfaction also filled her at his shock. She was always the one who was overwhelmed by his presence. It was good to have the upper hand for once.
"We should probably return to the ground." She said with a sigh.
"So, you have had enough fun for the night?" The demi-angel raised a dark brow with the golden tips that glinted in the night.
Aisling remembered her naughty behaviour and felt a little guilty. She was supposed to be concentrating on the possible end of the world, not having the time of her life. However, when faced with those seductive eyes, she refused to accept any fault.
It was his fault for allowing her to be distracted. And in any case, she had not received a salary from the Order, so she was not slacking off.
Before she could defend herself righteously, she noticed little glowing balls of light floating from the ground and rising in the air. Her eyes lit up.
