Samantha and Liam's gazes stayed glued to each other. Call her stupid but the doctor could no longer deny it. Whether she stays with him or away, makes no difference. 

She had been made a target again. She might as well enjoy being in love without inflicting more pain on both their hearts.

If she was to be fair, Liam was never at fault. Way before tragedy struck, he gave up a lot to make her his. He had loved her unconditionally every breath they took together. 

"How have you been?" She couldn't help but ask him. The memory of the first time she met him after ten years came to mind. 

He had a panic attack and was lovesick. He had asked her to stay with him. The first time she had let him embrace her until he was calm enough.
