Capítulo 145: Skeptic

A/N: We are back to the present time, returning to Lizzie's POV. Lizzie coincidentally met the blind seer at the restricted sections of Ali's hometown library.

I wasn't even thinking straight as of the moment. It had seemed like my mind was blown off by the sheer amount of information. It had made its way deep within my own head that I was actually scared about it.

The blind seer took a step back from the pedestal, his hand slipping away from mine. He cocked his head and looked at me pensively. His eyes were clear behind his glasses.

I can't seem to put a finger into it, but why do I feel like his eyes were twinkling when he asked me what I saw with the book? His mouth twitched, rising into a little smile as he spoke afterwards.

"It is your choice whether to believe or not, Elizabeth," he replied, "This is the Book of Truth, if you haven't known, and it shows you what you direly need to know. There is no lie here."
