It was not just Joey's father who somehow gathered his composure while looking in Sofia's direction. When Sofia marched her way towards Joey and Stephen, everyone inside the covered court actually gazed at her. Those who were casually chattering with other basketball teammates abruptly stopped their conversation. The other player who was just dribbling the ball also stood straight and eyed her.

Even though the one entering the place was just a young teen... Sofia just simply had an aura of authority around her. Every step that she took would demand anyone to notice her. 

It could be how she stood straight and held her head high. Or perhaps, the solemn expression on her face. Such a person is impossible to ignore.

The basketball practice had already several people watching on the side bleachers. Even those audiences actually took their phone and quickly took stolen pictures of Sofia.
