Diana's P. O. V

The first thing my mom did was have Luca's mom move into our house once she was discharged from the hospital. She said that she had a feeling he already knew their new apartment, and he might go looking for them there.

Luca said he was staying at Brent's house for the meanwhile, so that gave me some sort of comfort, Brent's dad was some crazy rich guy, with lot of security and shit.

Mom was downstairs with a policeman and woman, Luca's mom was still recuperating inside, said she was still too scared to come out of the room.

It surprised me how maturely mom was handling everything, I thought that mom would advise her and Luca to move away and hide from his father. But she encouraged her to face him in court and get him locked up.

The way she talked and how she was so understanding towards Luca and his mom really gave me a sense of pride, I was damn proud of my mom.
