I paced back and forth inside my chambers. My heart was pounding too hard and I could not sleep. My impending escape will happen in the morning and though I am determined to leave my confinement, I fear. I tried to escape twice already and twice I failed. This will be my last attempt and if I get caught, Prince Eric will never let his guard down anymore. Worse, he will take me. I'm sure of it.

This escape had to work! I do not want to marry him in five days. One more touch from him and I swear I will vomit! Besides, I have so many questions. Who requested the aid of the gypsies? Monika and Carla especially? Could it be… could it be that Jacob requested their help? Could it be that he is still alive?
