Capítulo 89: Upgrades

"Huh?" Ace asked, the shock waking him up slightly. "Why her? Is she really that important or something?" 

"There are several reasons," Cleo said, sitting beside him. "The main reason is you." 

"What do I have to do with this?" Ace glared at Cleo while pinching himself on the side to keep from falling asleep. "I just rescued someone in trouble." 

"She wasn't really in trouble but sure," Cleo said sheepishly. "She would have devoured those men once they ... you know what, never mind. Remember what our plan was?" 

"To change the storyline?" 

"Yes. To mess up the storyline. And you have been doing an incredible job, especially at staying alive." 

"I don't know what that is supposed to mean." Ace mumbled, losing consciousness again. "I can't seem to stay awake, Cleo." 

"Ok, let's deal with this first then," Cleo said, getting to her feet and then turning back into a fox before jumping straight into Ace's chest.
