Capítulo 45: Nothing New

"No. No. No. No." Ajax said, sitting on the floor as he tried to stop the blood that flowed out of the boy's eyes and mouth. "How did this happen? Ace."

Tears ran down his face as he tried to shake the boy gently to blink, but his eyes were staring at the ceiling blankly.

"Ace!" he shouted, looking around him in a panic.

He tried to use his magic to exchange the lives of the dead servants but he couldn't. In order to exchange lives like that, they needed to have some kind of life in them still.

Those servants were completely dead, not a hint of life anymore.

"Ace. Come on. Talk to me." He sobbed, wiping his tears as the blood stained his face. "I'll get you better, I promise. Just ... stay alive. Please."

"Ajax!" The doors suddenly burst open and a boy with black hair ran into the room. "I felt a wave o- What happened here?"

"Lucian. Ace- Ace is." he sobbed, holding the dead boy in his hands. "He is-"
