Capítulo 69: A Surprise Visit (I)

Mrs. Bryne glanced at her daughter, who walked straight to her room without saying anything to her parents. She bit her lips and strolled closer to her daughter but a hand clasped around her wrist. She glanced at it and saw her husband shaking his head. 

"Alice, my love. Don't… she needed time for herself. You know that she assumed that Chance would be there and clearly not." 

"I know that but…" she just sighed and responded with a nod. But then, she walked closer to her daughter's room and heard her devastating voice. 

"Where are you, Chance? I really really miss you, dork! Please come back!" 

Alyssum's parents were very worried about their daughter. Ever since Chance left, she was devastated and lost. Her mother just glanced, felt the thorn inside her heart when seeing her daughter crying out loud. 

"Why don't you tell her?" Her husband asked.
