Once again, the couple was left in the room, glaring at each other until Lu Mengjie raised her hands in surrender. She was tired from her trip and all she wanted to do right then was to have a warm bath.

"Show me to your room." Her words sounded more like an order than a request which irked the man.

"Find it yourself." He turned the other way and began heading to his study instead. Just when he thought that he could finally have an alone time, he noticed that his wife began following him from behind. "Stop following me."

"Not until you lead me to your room."

Right then and there, the housekeeper went out but as he did, he only gave them a low bow before he scurried away from the couple.
