The tranquility in the atmosphere of the cafe was my saving grace from the unsettling silence of Ide-san. She hasn't responded, casting her head down. After learning a few more things about her, I learned her parents died at an early age, and the cause of it... She can't bring herself up to tell me, which is understandable.

"Sorry. I stepped over the line with my phrasing. I apologize for that."

I got no response from her.

"I'll just order, do you want something? Any beverage? Coffee? Frappuccino? Milk? Soda? My treat."

"Milk..."

"Not sure if they're serving those, but I'll ask."

Approaching the barista, I ordered an espresso and milk; however, the milk was in this little carton container. Since it's the only available choice; I went with it. The barista was kind of hesitant at first for some unknown reason.
